Night at the Museum, Jen, traveling & kayaking…
I just got back from seeing Night at the Museum and it was so funny! I wasn’t expecting as many guys from the Judd Apatow movies as there were. They’re my favorite. This was the first movie I actually liked Amy Adams in. I also loved that the Jonas Brothers were the cupid statues. I thought the statues looked like the boys from Hanson though. Ben Stiller is amazing. Everything he does is genius.
Seeing the movie made me really miss Jen. Every time I see the Jonas Brothers I think of how we went to see The Veronicas in Buffalo in 2005 and the Jonas Brothers opened for them. They even sang their song “Mandy” to me. Who would’ve thought that they would go from performing in front of 15 people (if that) to the millions of screaming girls they perform for now. I miss our Octobers and going to Buffalo all the time. I miss driving to Pittsburgh to see Ryan Cabrera and I miss taking a random trip to Niagara Falls after we drive to Buffalo to see Ashlee Simpson and the show was canceled and how Jen lost her cell phone in the haunted house and had to drive back there the next day. Some of my all time favorite memories are because of her. Maybe I’ll get some money for graduation and can take a trip to see her!
Other places I’d like to go right now:
1. Wilmington, NC (my favorite place)
2. Philadelphia, PA (I had a Mac’s Philly cheesesteak yesterday and I want to try the original. Plus, the Rocky steps and the museums, and Lucas lives there)
3. Charlottesville, VA (From what I hear and read it’s one amazing city)
4. Washington D.C. (I just saw Night at the Museum, duh)
5. California (anywhere in California really, I’ve never really had an urge to go there but lately I’ve been thinking about it)
or
5. Nashville, TN (I want to experience it on my own terms)
Something I’m super excited for this summer is to start kayaking again! I’m hoping to make it a weekly ordeal and maybe take our kayaking excursions to new places!
